“Erecting a 25-storey tower on the site of the Institut des Sourdes-Muettes in exchange for the preservation of the heritage complex: that’s the proposal selected by the Government of Quebec to bring the site back to life by housing 800 households there, La Presse has learned.
The City of Montreal and the Government of Quebec will announce this Monday that developer Residia has won the call for proposals launched last fall to find a new purpose for the Saint-Denis Street landmark in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough."
